Nexa 13 LLC is a U.S.-based software publishing and digital distribution company built on more than two decades of experience delivering trusted consumer and professional software products.
The company was formed following the acquisition of Avanquest North America, the long-standing U.S. software publishing and distribution business previously owned by Claranova SE. After nearly two decades of leading the organization’s operations, the leadership team transitioned the business into an independent company under the Nexa 13 brand.
Today, Nexa 13 continues to operate and expand several well-known software brands including MySoftware, Nova Development, Hallmark® Software (an authorized Hallmark licensee), and Virtual Architect, while also developing new digital products and service platforms.
In addition to software publishing, Nexa 13 operates Nexa 13 Global Distribution Services, providing end-to-end product marketing, distribution, and logistics support for software publishers and technology companies worldwide.
What makes Nexa 13 unique is its focus on managing the entire technology value stream, not just individual components of the supply chain. From product development and publishing to global distribution, customer support, and long-term product lifecycle services, Nexa 13 works across every stage of the ecosystem to deliver reliable and scalable solutions for partners and customers.
Nexa 13 is a women-owned small business, with Jane A. Jones serving as majority owner and Chief Executive Officer, holding a 51% ownership stake in the company.

Jane A. Jones serves as Chief Executive Officer and majority owner of Nexa 13 LLC. With more than 40 years of leadership experience in operations, finance, and business management, she provides strategic direction for the company’s growth, financial stability, and long-term development.
Under her leadership, Nexa 13 is focused on strengthening operational discipline, expanding global partnerships, and modernizing the company’s technology and distribution platforms.
David S. Jones – Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer
David S. Jones serves as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Nexa 13 LLC, where he leads the company’s day-to-day operations, product strategy, and strategic partnerships.
Jones previously led Avanquest North America for nearly two decades, overseeing software publishing, national retail distribution, and digital commerce initiatives across multiple software brands. During that time he built long-standing relationships across the technology industry including retailers, developers, and global distribution partners.
At Nexa 13, he focuses on modernizing the company’s software ecosystem while continuing to build long-term partnerships across the technology value stream.
